GCAA Stallions Cross Country 2017

Tuesday and Wednsesday at the Mallard Creek Greenway from 2:30pm to 4:30pm Beginning March 7th.

Be a member of a registered homeschool or a 3 day school in NC. However, only registered homeschoolers cleared by the Department of Non Public Education will be eligible to run the North Carolina Home Educators state race.



At least 10 by December 31st 2017 (PLEASE NOTE: 5th graders may only participate in the limited meets available to them if they have an older sibling involved in XC and a parent present at practices for supervision and safety reasons. XC coaches cannot be held responsible for 5th graders, and they are not covered by the fees and GCAA insurance.)

* No older than 18 by September 1st 2017

Middle School will consist of 6th-8th grade. In specific meets all 7th+ graders will be eligible for JV/V. Junior Varsity and Varsity team divisions will be determined by speed, not grade.



GCAA Insurance Fee due upon Registration- $20

*Returning Runners are still covered from last years fall registration

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association (GCAA) is to provide the home schooled student athletic opportunities within an environment that is both Christian and competitive. We desire to nurture the character of the young men and women entrusted to our program that will allow them to be successful in all future endeavors.

Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association is a non-profit, 501(C)3 organization that relies entirely on the membership of each family and the donations of gracious people outside the GCAA family. GCAA is a member of the larger North Carolina Home Educators Athletic Conference(NCHEAC) and Mid-State Athletic Conference.
