Sherri Holm - Head Coach Middle School Girls

Sherri Holm has been a part of basketball in one aspect or another for most of her life. She played college basketball, as well as volleyball, at University of Northwestern-St.Paul (MN) where she earned NCCAA All-American honors. After graduation from college she moved from the court to the sidelines as assistant coach for her alma mater for four years, followed by six years as head coach. As head coach she led the team to two NCCAA National Tournament bids. Coach Holm took a break from coaching while her four children were young, and then returned to coaching as her kids began playing, first in recreation leagues and then with the GCAA Stallions varsity girls’ team. She has been with the Stallions for eight years, either as an assistant coach or head coach. Under her leadership the GCAA Stallions have won two NCHEAC State Championships, the most recent in 2012-13 when they finished with a 25-5 record. Coach Sherri’s passion for coaching stems from her desire to encourage young ladies to know and live for Jesus Christ, to grow in character, and to reach their full potential as athletes.
